What is Perlite?
Perlite is a puffed volcanic rock, which is used to improve the drainage of your soil or coco coir by creating an overall more porous substrate.
Adding more perlite to your mix (max 50/50) will allow for more oxygen to the roots, and hence faster plant growth. A high amount of perlite also allows you to use more nutrients.
This inert, pH neutral, natural media is incredibly lightweight and will greatly contribute to reaching the correct water/air ratio.

How to use it?
Mix it with your preferred substrate to increase drainage. A good starting point is 70% coco or soil and 30% perlite
